Mission

To reach, teach, and help people in Jesus’ name.

Our Beliefs

Is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He eternally exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity). These three are co-equal and are one God. (Genesis 1:1,26,27, 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2)

Is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:22, 23; John 1:1-5; 14:10-30; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 1:3, 4; 6:6; 7:4-6; 8:1-4; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; 1 Timothy 6:14, 15; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 4:14, 15)
Is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer spiritual gifts when they are saved. Christians are to yield to and trust the Holy Spirit to enable them to live holy, loving, and productive lives that bear much fruit and glorify God. (John 16:7-13, 14:16,17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; 2 Corinthians 3:17; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 1:13; 5:18)
Is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error. (Psalm 119:105, 160, 12:6; Proverbs 30:5; 2 Timothy 3:16; 1:13; 2 Peter 1:20, 21)
Are made in the spiritual image of God and are to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, they are all marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God and His word called “sin”. This sin has separated mankind from God. (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; 59:1,2; Romans 3:23)
Is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our sin and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. We are saved from hell to be with Jesus forever in Heaven. (John 14:6, 1:12; Romans 5:1; 6:23; Galatians 3:26; Ephesians 2:8, 9; Titus 3:5)
Is immersing a willing Christian under water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience that identifies a person with Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 1:9; Acts 8:36-39; 18:8)

Our Ministries

Our Goal

Is to pack as much FUN and BIBLICAL learning into our teaching time as possible. Your children will be engaged with organized curriculums, offering interactive teaching, visual media and straightforward discussions. We are excited to spend time with your children this Sunday!

KID’S MINISTRIES

Nursery (Birth – 2 yrs)
Personal nurturing for your child. Parents can take comfort in knowing that their infants are receiving exceptional, loving care in our nursery while they enjoy worship or a class on Sunday morning. Our nursery is equipped with the perfect necessities for little ones from swings to mobiles to strollers, toys, and cribs.

Preschool (2yrs – PreK)
Children have the opportunity to participate in a wonderful biblical lesson, craft, music and outdoor time (as weather permits). Fun and games are highly encouraged.

Kids Club (Kinder- 5th Grade)
Students are challenged to new ways of thinking, pushing them toward the next level of faith. Our Sunday morning gathering and high-energy events help students see church as a place they want to come rather than a place they have to come.

VOLUNTEER

CBC Kids Ministry is always on the look-out for dedicated, caring volunteers. Whether it’s in a class or overseeing the check-in desk, volunteer opportunities are available on Sunday mornings. All Kids Ministry Staff complete an on-board process which includes an application, background screening, reference calls, and an informal interview. Mandatory trainings, quarterly meetings, and reviews are required with KidMin Staff. Our KidMin Guidebook explains best practices and operating standards for anyone working with our children.

Here at CBC Boerne, we want to help your pre-teens and teens navigate the current times by building them up with Christ-centered teaching.

We have two groups. Our middle school group for 6-8 grades and our high school group for 9-12 grades.

We strive to reach, teach, and help our youth today so they are ready and capable to handle the peer pressures and challenges they face throughout these important years. By engaging them with biblical principles and fun activities, we strive to equip them for their tomorrows.

This is our goal at CBC Boerne! We are musicians and volunteers that have a passion for helping to bring people into a state of worship.

We love to use our God given gifts, talents, and abilities and offer it back in praise to Him!

If you feel that God has placed a desire on your heart to serve in this way. Please contact me. We’d love to see where you can fit on our team. Whether it’s singing, playing an instrument, lights, sound, projection, or stage set up, we all can work together toward our mission:
“To reach, teach, and help people in Jesus name”!
